The New Meeting Place for the Asian Plastics Market
4 February 2025
The agenda for AMI’s first edition of Compounding and Recycling Asia has been released, featuring presentations from ENVICCO, Beiersdorf, Avient, EcoBlue, SCGC, KPMG, China Packaging Federation, Keller and Heckmann and many more companies and organisations.
The event, taking place in Bangkok on 18–19 March 2025, combines AMI’s established Compounding & Masterbatch and Plastics Recycling Asia conferences to create a new format that offers exciting opportunities to learn and network with a wider audience than ever before.
As the plastics landscape becomes more difficult to navigate, collaboration and understanding between processors, compounders, waste management professionals, and recyclers is vital to ensure continued growth. With a focus on sustainable development in the plastics industry and the innovations driving this progress, this event allows experts to come together to discuss the key issues in one place.
Conference Format
Featuring two theatres, one focused on Compounding and the other on Recycling, the agendas will explore technological advances, market trends, major projects, and legislative updates in two distinct but closely related areas of the plastics industry. Attendees can expect:
Presentations from leading companies such as ENVICCO, Avient, EcoBlue and more
Moderated group discussions to understand the biggest industry drivers
Panel discussion on international strategies for managing plastic waste, diving into infrastructure and regulatory challenges
Over eight hours of networking, including a dedicated evening reception and networking breaks between conference sessions.
Attendees will be able to switch between theatres depending on which sessions are most interesting to them. Networking breaks will be the same time in both theatres, so attendees will be able to have conversations with all attendees as well as source new products in the shared networking and exhibition space.
To ensure that the event is representative of the entire value chain, special rates are available for masterbatch producers, plastics processors/converters, compounders, plastic recyclers, waste management organisations, OEMs and brand owners.
