René Medel, Senior Digital Creation Engineer, framas
René is an Industrial Designer and has been a 3D software user and trainer since 2001, when he worked as a product manager for Rhinoceros©️ in Chile. He has a passion for footwear and Additive Manufacturing. In 2015 he did a Master of Footwear Innovation at SLEM in the Netherlands and China. After that, he was asked to push the limits of 3D Footwear design and Additive Manufacturing for IP ideas production GmbH, a division of Birkenstock Group. He is currently Senior Digital Creation Engineer for framas in Germany, the manufacturer of high-performance plastic components for the entire shoe industry.
