We asked Manohar "What are the opportunities and challenges in Biax Film?"
Pimnattha Ang-atikarnkul, Senior Application and Market Development Executive, SCG Chemicals

In recent years, she and a development team have been dedicated to full PP recyclable packaging development, focusing on innovative BOPP resin to drive recyclable packaging for a greener world.
We asked Pimnattha "What has been the most exciting development in biaxially-oriented film production and usage in the last few years?"
Helmut Huber, Managing Director CSO, Brückner Presently, Helmut heads the sales in the western hemisphere and oversees the after-sales service activities for all Brückner and other OEM film production lines within this region.
Markus Gschwandtner, Managing Director/CEO, Brückner Currently, Markus heads the worldwide after-sales service activities for all Brückner and other OEM film production lines.
We asked them to provide a little preview of what they will present at the Biax event in Bangkok, Thailand.
We will talk about how innovation in film types can either support circularity by mono-material structures or how new technologies can support important features, such as barriers or high temperature usage, and also have a glimpse into biobased materials – and all this on new prod lines but also retrofits on existing assets
Christian Aigner, Sales Director, Brückner Presently, Christian heads the sales in the western hemisphere and oversees the after-sales service activities for all Brückner and other OEM film production lines within this region.
Sebastian Lange, Vice President Film Division, Brückner Sebastian has served in his current position at Brückner since 2019. His expertise encompasses a wide range of biaxially oriented film applications, including BOPE, BOPP, and BOPET.
We asked them how they see the biax field developing and growing in the next three to five years? Public scrutiny may ease as people realise the consequences of not having these materials, which are essential for sustainability. Meanwhile, plastic bashing could shift to more pressing global crises, redirecting public focus and steering opinion towards the broader benefits of these innovations.
